Happy Valley

Happy Valley Conference Center is located in the mountains between Santa Cruz and Scotts Valley, approximately 3 miles from downtown Santa Cruz. Redwoods and ferns cover many of our 73 acres and share space with the green valley of our “North 40.” There are cabins and dorm-style lodging spaces with a total of 163 beds, indoor and outdoor meeting and gathering spaces, a newly restored swimming pool for Summer 2026, basketball and volleyball courts and hiking trails, a labyrinth, and a large lawn/playfield.

Food is simple and comforting, fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and (most importantly) delicious, and we happily serve our friends with dietary restrictions so everyone enjoys meals together. The atmosphere at Happy Valley is secluded and peaceful, and we delight in serving program groups who work to build sacred communities and improve people’s lives.
